Show: Yu-gi-oh
Card Game: Yu-gi-oh. I didn’t know anyone who knew how to play the Pokemon card game (we still bought the cards anyways).
Video Game: Pokemon

Though this is kind of a dead thread…

YuGiOh, because the characters are more developed, and it’s easier to write stories about YuGiOh than Pokemon.

Pokemon - the game competitive battling system had so much more depth and complexity. Helped me develop my strategy and math skills that made me a pro at games like SC. And it was fun as anything beating the game, collecting cards, messing up my game by catching missingno, back when I was a kid.

Yugioh is fail, imo

YUGIOH ! Complex- fully developed characters- obvious choice :] Oh, but I loved Digimon when I was ten- I used to wake up every MORNING EARLY JUST TO WATCH IT. But it dissapeared and I never saw the ending I was heartbroken- whatever happened to lucimon?

Pokemon, ftw.

They both sucked, none of them knew how to actually do what they were supposed to do.

That said…Pokemon was still better.

Pokemon <3!
It was a huge part of my early childhood. Haha, I can still sing the Pokemon theme song from season 1. xD

pokemon was my life for a few years in elementary school, so i have to say that. never got into yugioh, and i hated the one episode of digimon that i watched. never got into the pokemon card games, but i did collect a few. gave them all to my younger cousin last christmas though. as sad as this may sound, i spent hours and hours playing yellow, blue, gold, and silver but i never beat any of them. in yellow and blue i always got stuck at the part where you were at silph co. in saffron city. in gold and silver i always got stuck at…err i dont remember the name of the city, it was the town with the red gyrados and the gym leader who specialized in ice pokemon. after beating that gym leader, i could never get through that cave. my brother finally showed me how to do that, and i eventually managed to battle/beat the final gym leader, but i dont think i got any further than that. but yea, usually after getting frusturated with silph co or the cave, id just start a new game. im determined to finally beat yellow this summer though[yeaa my social life is somewhat lacking]. cant find my other games, which makes me sad, but after i finally beat yellow im hoping to download them or something. or look for and hopefully find a couple more.
its prolly because i stopped being obsessed with pokemon after the gold/silver era that i hate any of the games after that. my brother had ruby, and i played it but got annoyed that i didnt recognize any of the pokemon in it. i missed pikachu, the three original starters, ect…id get all excited when i finally found a pokemon that i actually remembered. so yeaa, idk how many pokemon there were after the gold/silver era, but i feel like whatever that number was was perfect, and the fact that theres such a huge amount now is ridiculous.
loved the pokemon show and movies back in the day too. actually just watched the very first episode of pokemon on youtube the other night.
soo yeaaa…needless to say, pokemon pwns all, IMO. :]

In general, pokemon. But as for TV show/card game, definitely yugioh
