TT15,

You don’t think being a black female is a hook???

TT15,

You don’t think being a black female is a hook???

I wasnt too sure what the hook thing meant lol so I left it blank but I guess it helps? I would hope they were looking at my stats more than my race and gender because I don’t think they are too bad…

Wow, they sent the decisions pretty late for you guys. They said they would have them all by Jan 15th. xD

I think it’s regular decision actually…Congrats to everyone!

are you sure? Cause they said by March or April for RD…

Yeah I was surprised, but some of my friends from my school got in regular today.

Then i guess there rolling??

I got in regular admission today in Watson. =)

yes that was me with the 1340/1600
I definitely did not ask for a change of school or anything like that
When I talked to them they said all decisions were final and students who were not admitted to their top school were reassigned a second choice to be accepted

nobody knows if I can transfer within the first semester?

Hey, AAsupreme23, for the “students who were not admitted to their top school were reassigned a second choice to be accepted”, was it a second choice that students had to previously put down? Or was it a random assignment (although I’m dubious as to why they would do that)?

TineTime15: Congratulations! I see you applied in October. Did you apply rolling or were you early action? If so, were you originally deferred or was this the first you heard from them. Again, congratulations!

Tyler15: Thanks so much! But my bad, I should have specified that I did early action. I actually got my decision in mid-December but I just started going back on this website so I just posted my crudentials now. My bad, sorry!

So do you think Deferred applicants will hear soon as well, or do we have to wait until like march…

Eh, I hope so Joe. I’m happy to hear about your acceptance AASupreme, when’d you find out? Honestly, I think the people who got RD acceptance today were the overqualified ones (>90 GPA with outstanding standardized test scores), and general discussions are still going on about the RD pool. I mean, my school still has to send out my mid-year, so I’m just keeping my fingers crossed till April 1st. Till then, my sphincter is beyond tight. G’luck to everyone.

I don’t think qualifications play a part of when you get the decision. My friend who had lower SAT’s, GPA, and rank ( He had an 1800 SAT, 88 GPA, and was ranked like 60 out of 260) than me just got accepted today. So Idk how they are doing it…but i hope us deferred applicants get it soon…

Binghamton’s tomfoolery levels are off the charts. F*** it, I’m just gonna eat my pillow. I heard it’s high in fiber.

so i guess to get in, anything not surpassing 90 is failing?

Just received an email that my app is complete and ready for review, RD.

I applied EA and found out Jan 3rd that I was deferred
I got a letter in the mail wednesday that I was accepted
I think I put the college of community affairs when I was filling out my app because they suggested I add a second after harpur and I just put that because I was sure I could get into harpur
obviously I was wrong…
