I got an email from Yale Undergraduate Admissions this afternoon saying to visit Yale this spring. My heart skipped a beat and I nearly died because I thought it was from YSPA. lol

@stopthistrain I didn’t get one either. They probably should send out emails to everyone, though. I’m just going to wait and not give up hope yet.
@cconfusedd @cfleet @szhang9246 That would be good to know. They might release international decisions first so they can start planning visas, etc.
Update: Just checked the website. It says that “emails for admission and for the wait-list will go out sometime in April.” Does that mean the people who are rejected don’t get emails? That’s pretty harsh imo.
I’m a California resident - not international. Maybe they’re selecting one by one, meaning they haven’t decided their full class yet. Hence, they arent giving out results in one mass email.
I wouldn’t give up hope yet!
@szhang9246 Brilliant! Maybe they sent out domestic acceptance emails first, in which case I still have hope. Btw congratulations on getting accepted!
@frazzledazzle They probably send out rejection emails after all spots have been filled, so the time when they send out rejection emails might vary, which might be why they didn’t state the time on the website. Idk lol.
What alternate plans do you guys have for the summer?
I’m also not an international applicant and I received notification by email. Maybe try checking your spam folder to see if it was accidentally sent there?

@cfleet Nothing there. When I was getting the confirmation emails for the application they all went to my inbox.
I still have hope that I might have a sliver of a chance of getting in. I also applied to SSP. Hopefully I’ll get in there. Otherwise I’m already going to Girls State and Leaders School this summer and music camp if I don’t get into either of the programs.

@jalopsy3 Nope, domestic. There wasn’t a Facebook group mentioned in the email, but I haven’t confirmed that I’m attending yet so they might invite us to it after we do that.
