YYGS on college applications other than Yale's

Will mentioning YYGS (Yale Young Global Scholars) on an application of university other than Yale hurt my chances? How do I mention it in the things I did the last summer?
Also, I got an aid to attend the session, so should I mention the scholarship (or aid) thing while writing something about YYGS?

It won’t hurt your apps to other colleges. That’s unwarranted paranoia. How to mention it? List the title and a one sentence synopsis. No need to mention scholarship/aid

My D listed the Brown Summer Program when she applied to Yale. I don’t think it will make a difference. The school will not be offended, many kids that apply to top tier schools attend many of the same top tier summer and school year programs.

YYGS is somewhat selective in admissions (iirc, they accept ~20%). It might somewhat help your app to other schools, but surely will not hurt. Mentioning aid is unnecessary.
