<p>Also, how exactly do the discussions work? A schedule i saw said that the discussions would be held in our "residential communities" and to ask our RAs for the time. I hope this doesn't mean there are actual repercussions for not reading the book. </p>
<p>If it is, I wasn’t aware of it. I saw the little note on the schedule that said the discussion is “mandatory for new students” and was thought, “Wait, what?”</p>
<p>lol I honestly don’t think there are any repercussions for not reading the book. I told my RA I only read half of Zeitoun and he also admitted to only reading half of it…</p>
<p>i read the whole book. I don’t live on campus, but unless UCLA really cares (which i doubt it does) and your RA is a total jerk, i doubt there’ll be any repercussions for not reading it.</p>
<p>tbh i didn’t really even enjoy the book. I just kind of wanted to give myself something to do lol.</p>
