zero week

hey...i am an incoming freshman and I have a recitation scheduled for thursday but my first lecture in that class isn't until friday. Will i still have the recitation or will i not have my first one until the next week (first week of classes)? Thanks....

Depends on the class. The professor or TA will usually send an email if it’s canceled.

or the prof/TA will post on the door -_-

Or just don’t go at all. No one will care and I doubt anything important will happen.
Only go if you’re on the waitlist or not enrolled but you want to get in.

Likely your TA will send out an email stating that recitation is cancelled. Since it is a freshmen level course, I would upgrade the likelihood to very very likely.

I had one instance though (an upper division course) where material was actually taught, and half the class missed out

I know for Chem 14a they specifically said there WILL be discussion on Thursday. However, they said it’s a review of high school chem so it’s probably non-essential.
