<p>Note that this is last resort, because mods have their own lives and they won’t be too happy if they get too many PMs to answer to. </p>

<p>This didn’t work for me and I was not accepted, so it seems pretty legit.</p>
<p>Yeah, I think this was different than the SCEA round because last week it didn’t work for me and then today, it worked. Also, we did not get a new Stanford ID in our acceptance emails…so they must have changed something over the weekend/Monday…</p>

<p>@LightBright this <em>must</em> be true. believe it or not, i registered my username (not the ID that was sent in my email but a username that can be created with that ID!) last night (31st morning for you) and that will be my stanford ID for the next 4 years…</p>
<p>unfortunately, i chose a stupid username. i really really hope i can change it. otherwise, i’ll be known by this ridiculous username for the rest of my life. :P</p>

<p>Lol, I did the exact same thing…I went through everything and ever created my own username. Whoops. I was afraid to post anything because everyone was like, “Don’t play with this thing, they will find you, and they will rescind admission.” I guess i just have to hope they don’t do so…</p>

<p>lol mine only works after about 5 tries. But I only started trying AFTER I got the acceptance email. lol. (in fact, I didn’t even read this thread/know about this applicant ID thing until after I already had gotten in!)</p>

<p>I thought it was a bit strange when it worked for me (aka, I was waiting for a rejection letter to come later that night), but then an official acceptance came and I have the same bloody username that I created yesterday afternoon…hahah, good thing it’s nothing embarrassing, it was actually one that they suggested for me. </p>
<p>But did anyone else have to try like 5 different passwords until it was strong enough? Lol, I did, and I was trying pretty random things.</p>
