zoology/wildlife bio

I am having an extreme amount of trouble trying to find programs in colleges in VA that I can study to become a Wildlife Biologist or zoologist. Every time I try a search engine to see which colleges in VA offer this, it brings up a couple of colleges but when I go to the page of the college I can't find any info about it. any help would be much appreciated!

I am a Community college student right now and hope to get an A.S. then transfer as a junior to a 4 yr college to complete my B.S. If I can find a college close to where I live that is. I am feeling pretty discouraged.

Virginia Tech:
[Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences](http://www.fishwild.vt.edu/)

Keep in mind that at many [most?] colleges, programs that were called zoology have been combined into a major now known as Biological Sciences. There are a few school, however, which still offer a distinct ‘Zoology’ degree. The basics would probably be the same at most schools. General Biology I & II, Cellular Biology, Genetics, Ecology, Inverterate Zoology, Comparative Animal Physiology. The larger the school, the more specialized courses, like Mammology, Herpetology, Biogeography, etc.

cool, the 4 year university closest to me is george mason university. I see they have a Biology undergrad. program and looking at the biology courses they offer they have a lot of courses you would take if you wanted to go for specifically a zoology or wildlife biology major, so maybe I can tailor my biology B.S. specifically towards what I want to do if I go transfer there.
