I am one person out of 10 signed up so far to take the Powerscore weekend course in Pittsburgh, PA September 24, 25. Any other weekend warriors that have taken a similar course? Did it help? I am driving 5 hours away to take the course. Also, law school forums...there are only so many that occur correct? What is another way to see so many schools at once?

Mine was not powerscore since it is not offered near my location, but I did find the preparation useful. My score was the same on the first practice test that I took and on the actual LSAT, but I left that weekend feeling much more prepared and much less nervous about the test. The course is good for helping you with the timing involved in the various sections, and it helps you feel comfortable with the format. I've heard nothing but great things about the Powerscore program, and I did try to find one nearby that I could attend.

I recommend studying the logic games the most, because for me they took up the most time and were the one area that I felt I could have really improved on if I had given adequate attention. The other areas of the test seemed to me to be things that you were either good at or not, but the games have certain methodologies/differences about them that allow you to narrow down the technique you will use to solve them. The more you practice them and understand what you do right/wrong the easier they get. The weekend course was especially helpful in identifying some of those techniques. Good luck.
