Does anyone recommend the 14 or 10 meal a week meal plan for a freshman guy?

I had 14 and I usually only used about 10-12 first semester, had I been on the 10 plan I could have easily kept it to 10 every week by getting lunch at the a la cart places more, but that may or may not have saved me any money since I’d have needed more brbs. Second semester, I used less and often didn’t break 7. Should have switched down but was on the fence and then missed the deadline. A few reasons for this, such as my schedule not working so well for going to the meal plan places for lunch and eating dinner at the frat I joined several times a week.

Hm…I ended up choosing 10 because you can upgrade your plan whenever you want but if you start out with too many, you only have 2 weeks to downgrade your plane.

get 10, you’re gonna think it’s too little before you get there, but once you get there it’ll be fine, mostly since you’ll be using brbs often for lunch and eating off campus randomly

10 meals a week. 7 dinners, 3 lunches for the weekend, for the rest use the BRBs.

10 is plenty. I never used all of them.

I lived off 7 meals easily second semester. Ten was always too much. Most times you wont even have time to go to the dining hall or wont be close to one so you resort to BRBs

dang… I did 14…

def do 10… if you already chose 15 you can change it once you get to school easily… basically you will not eat breakfast every day and often you will grab lunch on campus at an a la cart location. With that in consideration, it is likely the most you will use is 12, but considering many kids will stay on campus all day with classes or library, you will likely use less. you can always use brb’s to buy an extra meal if you decide to have 11… i think i had to do that once.

you can change it up until the second week of school if i am not mistaken…
