OK guys i'm going to take the May 3 SAT,so now i'm cracking the 10 Real SATs book.It seems I always got 8-12 (out of 40)questions wrong on just 4 Long Passages.... then I took two NEW SAT QAS (CR section.LP+SC+SP) and missed 7-8 questions(67 total). Is it me or the 10 real SATs book is difficult? What's the deal??

I haven't taken any tests out of the 10RS book, but maybe it's because the CR section in 10RS was only on long passages (that's what i understood from your post, correct me if I'm wrong) while the new CR section has different parts along with long passage. If thats the case, it's likely that your weakness is in long passages...at least now you know what to work on!

Hm, that's weird. Try comparing the two books and see why you got more wrong on the 10 Real SATs book. That shouldn't happen, because they didn't change the types of questions on the reading part, just the types of passages. Maybe you do better because there are more short passages? I don't know.

that book is an older one.
Collegeboard changed what was on the SAT in the first place. (for example, analogies and such were taken out)

the new SAT one should be more accurate.

i am assuming you are reffering to the red book when you talk about the 10 real sats. if you weren't then disregard this whole thing!

well, maybe there are really some differences between the new SAT and the new one.... anyway,it's still an official book,i'll find out why i missed so many questions.

there are Long passage questions and SC(sentence completion) questions in 10RS, but I already knew where are my shortages(LP),so I only did LP and that only confirmed my thought. Thank you for your advice!

I just feel that there are not enough practices on New SAT...
