Dear CC2UC,

As a member of the Berkeley Admission Committee, I am pleased to have reviewed your application, it was a very special piece of work that caught all our attention at the admissions office, we believe that your dedication in your work and your unique experience would help to diversify our student body. We also believe you have what it takes to undertake the rigorous corriculum that we have to offer.

In addition to what I will announce, I would like to introduce you to Prof. Sciency of the department of your interest, Prof. Sciency looks forward to seeing you in the upcoming year and hopes to discuss some of his work with you on LIFE.

Furthermore I would like to remind you that Berkeley has a wide variety of courses and vast amount of resources for you to explore during your education here.

We would like to thank you for considering Berkeley in your transfer process, we have received an overwhelming amount of application this year, and yours along with a group of other stood out the most. Unfortunately, we found 201 applications that were out standing and we can only accept 200 students for the upcoming year, and I am sorry to inform you that you are the 201st student with an outstanding application, therefore it is with great regret that I inform you that we can not offer you a spot in next years class.

Best of Luck with your future endeavors

Mr. Evil Ng
Al Queda no no, i mean Berkeley Undergraduate Admission

You don't think there is any chance UCLA's decisions could be posted tomorrow, do you? That would be fabulous!

Do they ever post them early? That WOULD be fabulous!

I hope they post them early, but it is very unlikely though.

4 days left and im going crazy

meh I won't get in...I already know this

keep your head up what are your stats?

3.78 which is alright GPA but major is EECS....I heard 4.0 get rejected...sigh.......well I still have UCLA

Counselors at my CCC told me and three of my friends not to apply to UCLA or Berkeley because: "Even 4.0 students get rejected there." My friends got into UCLA (English major) and Haas (both Fall 2005). So, take comfort in knowing that some schools have admissions reputations that are not neccessarily meshed with reality.

Ah, the dubious community college counselor.

Yeah, I think it's fairly obvious that, in most cases, the poor souls working in CCC A&R buildings are otherwise universally unemployable.

if i ever listened to the counselors in my school (glendale community college) i would be working at mcdonalds, they are so bad at what they do and i only hope that the counselors in the university level are much more informative

mcaj0n,
I am also from GCC and absolutely agree with you regarding the counselors. It would be interesting to know how many from GCC got accepted to UCLA.. I am Pol S major

I think the real question here is WHY isnt it May 1st yet? It seems SO far away. SO SO SO .
