Given that their transfer decisions aren't available until over a week after this event and the event seems geared toward incoming freshman, I'm kind of ambivalent about attending. What about you guys?

nope, no point attending if i'm going to get rejected.

i'll probably go.

went last year. kind of a waste of time re: getting any additional info on the admission process.

they have a prospective transfer day on april 11th (next tues) which would obviously (i would think) be more helpful then cal day.

cal day is more like a celebration type thing, isnt it? but prospective admission workshops, those should be good.

wouldnt it be more helpfusl if they had a transfer day, like sometimes mid may

or i could use transfer day to go to their admissions office and beg them.

cal day was a zoo...

i'm a cal student, and loved the university since i first saw it, but cal day was not a good representation of the place. too crowded and way too hectic.

but, now that i'm here, i'm once again, in love <3...

guys. they -have- a transfer day. its on april 11th.

april 11th, next tuesday, for prospective transfers.

is anyone going?

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I'll be in Ireland during that week. I'm sure the others may find it to be a useful tidbit.

Wouldn't it be mostly geared towards people who haven't applied yet? I don't see what good we would get out of it; it's probably just some lady with a powerpoint presentation parroting the website.

well, considering as how im one of the people who havent applied yet, aaaand if they start websiting i can just visit friends, im not really too worried. anybody else?
