Hi there! I took the March 4th SAT (second time taking) and got the aforementioned score. I was planning on taking the ACT as well in July, because my counselor said it’s a good idea to do both especially for T20s. Does it even matter now, since colleges won’t be as focused on standardized tests next admission process? I just don’t want to waste the time and money needed to do the ACT, if my SAT score is good enough and it really won’t help. Any advice is appreciated! 
A 1520 is a great score, so no you don’t need to take the ACT. You could take an ACT practice test and see if you are naturally better at the ACT. A 35 or 36 might be worth another Saturday of testing if you didn’t need to do a lot of prep.
Your counselor is giving bad advice. no college wants to see both scores.
