i signed up for math 16b during calso and now i'm regretting it.
i took ap calc ab senior year but i'm kind of scared that college math will be a lot harder so it probably is not a good idea to skip 16a.

so is 16b difficult with only one year of high school calc?

thanks

How did you do on the AP test?

got a 4 but got A's both semester in school.

Why are you taking the 16 series? Are you hoping to apply to medical school?

nope. architecture. we get a choice of either the 16 series or 1a/1b.

should i switch to 16a? although from the looks of it, 16a's pretty full.

I think you should just take 16b in that case. It probably will be hard, but there is a lot of help available if you are willing to take advantage of it (Student Learning Center, office hours, etc. etc.). You might want to do some review work before school starts, if you have time, just to brush up on your skills a bit.

Be sure to keep on top of things. Read the relevant section of the textbook BEFORE each lecture. If there's something you don't understand, go back and review a bit. Start on the homework early to get help in areas you are confused by. Get some extra study guides and use them in conjunction with the textbook. Etc. You'll probably do fine.

yep yep. oh gosh.

thanks for the help.
