What an inspiration story for those people who believe a obtaining a Ph.D is difficult. If these two young women can do it, other people by putting in the effort can.

thats really cool! good for them they decided to graduate so early. Obtaining a Ph.D at such a young age is really nice.

i wouldnt say they are geniuses, but rather started learning at a young age :)

i'd say what's the rush.

I have no problem with maybe skipping a year or two, but I think before you start college you should at least hit puberty.

Meh... I for one would feel very uncomfortable being a 20 year old and teaching 25 year olds... and would also have a hard time respecting a prof who was younger than me...

wow! [ 10 charac.]

I think that's special circumstances. To say if the sisters can do it anyone can is not setting realistic goals.

They say this and I think it sums up the article

"I think we've been given valuable opportunities, and we found ourselves in very fortunate circumstances."

Not everyone can have the opportunity and the will to do it.

Not everyone can achieve what the young women have, but given the opportunities, it can be done.

Dear GOD! I barely survived one of my finals today and these two girls who have their Ph. D. I feel like I'm a moron.

^Yes, CC can make one fee that way. Don't worry, your not.

Not only that - both have gotten professorships at the University of Rochester's Simon business school

Could be an inspiration for anyone, really.

However, I don't think it challenges the notion that obtaining a PhD is difficult. These gifted young women still took 5 years to do it.
