1990's Rock

I'm throwing a going-away pool party and I was wanting to make a bunch of mix tapes with 90s rock on it, and I was wondering if you had any bands that i'd forgotten.

So far i have:
blink 182
matchbox 20
sublime
offspring
and, of course, sum 41

can anybody think of any others (even if it's just one song that i need).

RHCP, Green Day

oh yeah. Green day before they sucked (sorry, i'm no longer a fan, but they had some really good stuff). i don't think i know RHCP.

edit: i'm an idiot. Red Hot Chili Peppers, okay.

This thread makes me feel really old

Green Day
U2
The Cure
Bush
No Doubt
Semisonic
Creed (eww but in the 90s)
Five for Fighting
Three Doors Down
Pearl Jam (base player went to my high school)
Nirvana
Rage Against The Machine
Soundgarden
Savage Garden
B-52s
Foo Fighters
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Sugar Ray

wow... thanks. i'll have more than just a few mix cds.

It's interesting, I will listen to pretty much any music between 1500 and 1990. But after 1990, it all just sounds bad to me. I don't know why. All music before then is just so different, and has its strong points. But after the 80s, i just don't feel it.

Gin Blossoms had some good songs in the 90s.

Pavement... =)

i hate sugar ray

so these are kind of more pop than rock, but it's all good.
