2 exams in one day

Anybody else have to do this? I already have U.S history out of the way, then i have physics B on monday, but then i have to take English lang and Art history this wed. on the sameday! I'm hope English won't burn be out before the art history test!. Any advice for taking two AP tests in one day? I'm gonna take 2 redbulls instead of one....

Yeah, most people taking Econ are taking both exams, which are on the same day.

I'd reccommend against the 2 red bulls.

DEFINITELY do not take them both in the morning.

Drink one 30 mins before your morning exam, then save another one and after your morning exam, drink it only if you're feeling really drowsy.

Oh man!!! Good luck!!

im taking two also

I woke up at 7:22 (We have to report to our AP testing room by 7:30) for my US test. I stayed up till 3:30 the night before (not even studying, just killing time online). Woke my mom up with a loud obscenity, had her write me a check, threw on the pants I wore yesterday, and was out the door. The adrenaline rush wore off by the time I got to the room and the line was still pretty long (Got there at 7:28, covered almost two miles with stop lights, parking, and running down the entire school because the student lot is on the other side of the building). Downed a red bull, took the MC. Took another red bull (call it a pre-emptive strike) during the break to stay awake during the DBQ/FR. I rarely ever drink caffeine.

End result? I stayed up till 4:30 after the test that night. Thankfully, I didn't get antsy (happens sometimes when I drink too much caffeine) nor did I crash during the test.

Wasn't as bad as when I first had Bawls and a Red Bull (the combination really hurt my head and stomach), or the time when there was free coffee for students and I had I think five cups. I was shaking by the time I was in Calc BC, my hands were tingling, I kept clawing at my arms, my head hurt massively, and I passed out in the middle of class. The kid next to me punched me in the arm over and over again, and it took a spritz from a water bottle to wake me up.

Anyway, just be careful with over-caffeinating yourself, especially if you don't take caffeine too often (like me!)

The extra sleep will most likely benefit you greater than any extra last-minute studying.

I did it with CompSci and Stats earlier this week -- it's not horrid. I don't know why you'd want to take redbulls, but I've never had one so I don't really know what effects they'll have on you. I just suggest making sure to eat something before each exam. If you really really want to, take the time while everyone is filling out their address and stuff to sleep. =)

Then again, I didn't have to write essays for either of those two tests. I can't imagine taking US and Euro in one day, but a friend of mine did that yesterday and he seemed fine last night.

Well, I have the Bio and Physics on the same day... I'm not ready for the physics test at all, and I'm gonna be worn out by the time I even start so, my hopes aren't very high for it. I really should be cramming instead of here... hmmm...

@tdn that's funny! but kinda sad, anyway i can take caffine well, but guess i shouldn't take too much of it.

Yeah, eat breakfast. I was starving during the free-response section of US gov and it really distracted me.

yeah i had ap us gov and french on the same day. it sucked.

Eat a lot and drink a lot of water.

Eat a strong breakfast, overeat (just get lots of calories) lunch (if you have anytime for lunch between the exams, like instead of one piece of pizza, go for 2 or 3) and drink a lot of water [and make sure you go to the restroom too] Have candy (chocolate) and water ready for your breaks between MC/FRQs.

I thought I would crash sometime during my day (especially since I went to sleep at about 3 and had to wake up at 6:30) but I didn't (well, at least not until after I had finished the FRQ for my 2nd exam), so I don't know if the overeating + candy + gallon/+ of water worked for me or if I just managed to stay awake... [uh, eating unhealthy foods makes me upset but I figured if I skipped a meal I'd die during my test]

Arthurbulla, yeah, US+Euro is not fun. My hand was about to mutiny after my 2nd DBQ.

I have Bio and Physics on monday :(

yeah i had compsci and stat on the same day...ate a bowl of cereal and took some powerade with me to the testing center for breaks...
