You've got to be kidding me...........now we have to spend more to buy a 13 - Button Remote Handheld Transmitter & Battery 9 Volt.

Those have always been there...

Really? O whoops......my bad then. All I've been looking at are required book list, so they didn't show up there.

really? where did you see those requirements?

Go to the chemistry schedule of classes and click on the red book on the right. It shows all of the required materials for the class.

are the materials different for chem 6ah? because I clicked on the red book and it says that there currently are no materials listed for the class.

just so you know...some teachers require the transmitter and others don't. look at the book list for your individual class as it is shown on "classes and waitlists" on tritonlink

so... the stuff you need to buy should be linked by the red book right? becausei dont see anything about a remote for chem 6a.... but i guess it depends on the teacher... what teacher is requiring the remote? i have york...

and why would you need a remote for chem? haha

i'll be in 6b and it seems like we need it too...where can we get this..anywhere online?

york is the lecture hall, not the teacher

and the transmitter is used by certain teachers as a way for students to get points for attendance and participation during class

Where do you buy them? Does the UCSD bookstore have them or do we have to go elsewhere? And why a Battery 9 Volt?

hahaha oops my mistake
lol

i thought york was an odd name
=P

You can get them at the bookstore.
I'd wait until the first day of class to get one though...some professors will not use them in class even though it says that they're required for the class. and don't worry, they won't use them on the first day anyway.
