Hey everybody,

I just switched into two classes that I really wanted to take this morning (=D), and I noticed that one class has no textbooks listed on the co-op website (UGS 303 - Islam and Sexuality). I was just wondering: since the semester is so close to starting, is it safe to assume that the class doesn't require any textbooks, or would you still recommend getting in contact with the professor?

Also, I have back-to-back-to back classes that involve getting from the pharmacy building to the McCombs building and back up to Welch hall. These classes are on wednesday, so would 10 minutes be enough to make it to all 3 classes? I'm totally fine with having to run if that's what it takes, even if I may look like a goofball.

Some UGS classes just have handouts instead of books, but I would ask your professor just to be safe. But waiting till the first day to find out won’t hurt either.

You’ll be fine. 10 minutes for those distances is more than enough time.

Pharmacy building to mccombs may take a little more than 10 minutes. McCombs to Welch is easy since there’s only Waggener in between. Leave maybe 2 minutes early from one class to get to the other on time if you really feel like you need to, although you might miss important announcements. Don’t run though, because you probably will look like a goofball haha. Just relax! Better yet, make a walk through between your classes before wednesday to see how much time it takes you to get from class to class. It’s pretty smart to do that anyway, just so you’ll know where everything is and won’t have to search for them the first day.
