2 years of foreign languages?

so right now I'm aiming for UCLA. I was an Econ major but that is way too competitive.

So I'm thinkin of changing my major to either Linguistics and Philosophy, French and Linguistics, or Linguistics and French.

Now one of the requirements for all of them is two years of a foreign languages. I already took 5 years of French in high school. Do you think I can take French 4-6 at university (will take one year--I run on the quarter system) and thus satisfy this requirement? Or is it mandatory that I take the actual two years of a language? I really like French</p>

THANK YOU MERCI

If youre using IGETC as a guide for transfer, you can complete your foreign language requirement by submitting your high school transcript. You should talk to your counselor and admissions about getting that done.
