Do you think Biotech will look substantially better than Art Production?

Well, is Biotech a science laboratory class like Chem or Biology?

If not, then it might not look better. If you are going to be a Senior in fall 2008, then I don't recommend piling up too many APs. However, 3 APs is ok. Your class schedule is your choice.

However, which particular colleges are you planning to apply in the fall?

For UCs, your schedule might be fine, except for Berkeley and possibly, LA. For Ivy Leagues, maybe, AP Psychology is a good choice.

My new revised schedule for Junior;

AP Eng Lang
AP USH
AP Environmental Science
AP Art History
H Italian 3
Math Analysis
XC/Track

Only thing is to apply to UCs i need Chem and Bio.
Should I take Chem at a college this summer so I can be done with it, or take it as a senior?

I'm taking as a Junior next year:
AP comp
AP USH
AP Spanish
AP Biology
Engineering Physics
Multivariable Calc 3

Schedule as of now for Senior Year:

AP Biology(full year)
AP Spanish Language(full year)
AP Stats(full year)(online)
British Literature 12 Accelerated(full year)

I have one more semester "block" to fill up. Should I take intro to sociology and psychology or calculus? I'm torn between those two classes.

junior courses

ap physics b
ap english
apus
ap environmental (self study)
precalc/trig
gifted studies

i might also self study another ap... dont know yet

ok well i posted in feburary, but it's changed since then. Now it's
AP English Lit (IB English 3 leading to HL)
AP Micro
Research VI (a mandatory class to help us write our EE)
Calc 3/Diff Eq
IB Math leading to HL
IB Computer Science sl
IB Chemistry leading to HL
AP French Lang (or IB French 4. idk. my teacher said she'll switch me to AP if she can)

To xxmelz91xx, I think it all depends on what college you want to go to and what you like more. If you love math, take calc. If you're more of a ...non-math person, take psych and soc.

My Junior year courses (tentative):

U.S History
Drama (state requirement)
AP English Language and Composition
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
AP Psychology (Self-Study)

Potential Senior year schedule:

AP English Literature and Composition
AP Government and Politics
AP Statistics
AP Physics C
AP Micro/Macro Economics (Self-Study)

Senior Year Schedule

AP English Literature and Composition
AP US History
SE Engineering Design
SE AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
SE Multivariable Calculus
Pop Music (worthless class, meets art requirement for graduation)
Physical Education

All that SE stuff is required classes for my magnet program. Pretty cool stuff.

Senior Schedule

AP Gov
AP Bio
AP Eng Lit
Statistics (my school doesn't offer AP)
Spanish 4 (regular)
P.E. (need the credits)
Yearbook

For my school, taking three AP in one year is almost unheard of, mostly cause my school only has only 7 AP classes total.

I think Senior year's gonna be difficult because my study habits are somewhat poor, but if I manage to pull it together and study hard, it'll be alright.

Senior year:

Band
AP Chem
AP Calc
Spanish 4 (no honors available)
AP Lit
AP Bio
Online: APUSH

Toughest courseload at my school. I'm also the val.

congrats for being the val.

AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
AP Environmental Science
AP English Lit
AP Spanish Language
AP Art History
Marching Band.

also taking Government DC, Economics DC (both micro and macro), and BCIS in the summer.

all these hard classes, yet I'm only rank 13/800 sobs
next year will be so fun.
yep yep.

is Ap statistics considered an easier class than AB calculus? any feedback please? i can't choose between the two.

^
Stats is generally considered easier.

Senior:

AP Phyc C
Spanish V (AP Lang)
AP Calc BC
AP Stats
AP Lit
AP Econ
Religion IV
AP Bio (at CC)

I loved calc, but stat is often easier, but a lot more busy work (at least in my school)

I slacked off in 9th grade (I still had honor roll, just a low average for the top tier schools) and redeemed myself in 10th grade. However, when I requested to see my class rank halfway through 10th grade, I was around 124/452ish. At the beginning of my junior year, I jumped down to 91/446. So, for my junior year, I took an unbelieveable heavy course load (I will receive mainly "B's" and a few "A's" for my final average...no "C's" or lower.) I just hope all of this pays off in the long-run when I apply EA in the fall.

Junior year:
AP English Language
AP Psychology
AP Biology
AP US History
AP Art History (online)
AP Environmental Science (online)
AP Comparative Government & Politics (online)
PE
Pre-calc
German IV
(After all of that, I "should" be between 20 and 30 when my school recalculates GPAs...::crosses fingers::)

Summer:
Calculus (as a foundation before AP Calc.) OR...
Physics (as a foundation for AP Physics)

Senior year (tentative)
AP Human Geography
AP Physics B
AP English Literature
AP Calculus BC
AP German
AP US Governmnet
AP Statistics or AP World History (haven't decided)
Drama IV
AP Micro Economics (online)
AP Macro Economics (online)
AP World History (if I take Stats in "live" school)
(Hopefully, after senior year, I should be in the top 20 or in the top 10.)

To make a long story short, DON'T SLACK OFF...EVER! (Trust me.) I'm sure no one wants to take 7-10 APs per year to make up for an unforgiving freshman year.

Senior Year:

AP Physics B
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Statistics
AP Comparative Government
AP European History
AP English Literature
AP Micro Economics (Self-Study)
AP Macro Economics (Self-Study)
AP Computer Science A (Self-Study)
