<p>repercussions??? what are they talking about. that’s a bit harsh. its their own fault for the problem. people are obviously curious and that’s not that terrible at all…</p>
<p>the way the note is worded is only vaguely threatening. don’t they say something to the effect of “we are not aware of repercussions at this time”? and we’ve never really heard anything about an offer of admission being rescinded.</p>
<p>that being said, i’ll be waiting until i get my letter of rejection via snail mail. maybe using the NetID will make it come a day sooner, but i think i can wait.</p>
