Intangibles/misc:

 • Sister is established in a Fine Dining career.
 • I think I had great essays to convey a sudden change of heart, a need for passion, and a valid explanation for a GPA hit. I was concise and articulate.

also i have a question. why would they let us have email addresses before we send deposits? i feel like i cheated the system or something o_O

oh here are my stats:
second semester freshman. umm… in high school i had like 3.8 gpa, or 3.9…not sure. i kind of suck at paying attention to those things, but i was in the top 5% of my graduating class. 28 ACT. i did some extra curriculars. not too many, though…just ones that i was dedicated to (e.g., a bunch of musical stuff, editor of newspaper, yearbook, some leadership positions, i volunteered at a hospital and in the community, etc.). my college gpa is a 3.7, and the only activity i’m in here is the pre-law club thing haha. that’s basically it, i guess. oh, and i’m a caucasian female…if that matters?

Sssunglasses- Which school did you apply to?

CAS
(10 char)

I´m afraid loging in!!! I can´t wait, do you think tomorrow we can have some letters?

I got my letter from my mailing address in the city (downtown). So they can very much be in transit!

you don´t know yet if you got in?

No, I received my acceptance letter today :)

REMY! Congrats man!!!

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww that´s awsomeeeeeeeeeee
congratssss
I hope I can have one soon

Thanks, Stewie!
A great opportunity for me, for sure.
Let’s hope we have the same luck with Cornell :)

What is your GPA and SAT socres?

I posted all my stats/ecs/workexp/etc a couple of posts back. its on page 38.

Thank you you just gave me a heart atack, for all those things you have done hahahah

My stats should give hope. I did horrendous in high school. An absolute underachiever. GPA of a 80/100, SAT’s of 1500/2400 (yeah, im not kidding).

I woke up in College, and even though I took a slight GPA hit last semester, and while it may be relatively low in some cases, it goes to show that a well-rounded activities, Leadership/Entrepreneurship EC’s, and valid work experience is worth something.

Coach just emailed me… said still no word… man I hate waiting

Remy which school did you apply too?

Hey it great to see some already got the good news. Congrats !!!. Did you get any information in your acceptance letters regarding $$$ costs and aid??

Congrats to those who have been accepted so far.

Remy, is the hospitality program as competitive as CAS? If so, I should have no problem getting in since my stats are pretty comparable to your own (although some of mine are higher, no offense)
