Ah, I see. Understandable.

OMG, EVERYONE'S GETTING WAITLISTED!

I'm terrified right now. You guys all had the same stats about that I did.

I still don't have a decision. It's still the "View Application Data" "View Credentials" link. I'm so worried. It's down to the wire.

no acceptances...gee what a surprise...

this is very surprising....i haven't seen anyone on this forum who got in after being deferred.

i have the same links as you wolves, i called my adcom she said i would get something in the mail early next week..i dono if thats good or bad good luck though..are you in state?

Remember how I was ripped earlier for saying that hardly any applicants would be accepted? Obviously we haven't had this pan out yet, but if this continues it looks like some of you will be eating crow.

I'm in-state.

the admissions counselor said that not everybody is gonna get their decision online, their online thing is like messed up, according to her

well im in-state as well wolves, lets hope for the best.

then u should receive your decision sometime this week...most likely friday or sat. Good luck...

"....their online thing is like messed up, according to her...."

are you just making that up ?? are you saying that our waitlists are just a mistake ?

no, im not saying your waitlist was a mistake, i am just saying that they were NOT able to upload all the decisions, thats all...sorry...

I guess everyone is getting this

"
We have carefully reviewed your application to the University of Michigan. At this time, we are unable to offer you a place in the term for which you have applied. Please know that this decision is the result of the competition for spaces rather than a reflection of your ability to succeed in college. It is possible that space may become available after the enrollment deposit deadline of May 1 has passed. If you choose, you may remain on our wait list for available spaces. You may accept or decline our offer to be placed on the wait list by clicking "Respond Now" to complete your decision. Please respond to our waitlist offer by May 15th. "

if we 'respond now' is the waitlist binding?? Can i choose to be on the waitlist and if i get in can i say no?? I want to see a financial aid report and maybe i would actually go. stupid UM. They are the worst at this stuff. I did, however, apply on febuary 3rd so maybe i should have applied a few days... or months earlier?

that's right cheapseats.

mojo-are you going to accept the waitlist offer?

I applied in October with a 2130 SAT and I was still waitlisted.

i'm really confused as to what UM is putting a lot of weight on. Apparently it's not test scores, because i applied in October as well with only a 2000 (OOS) and got in.
I hope you all get in too, because you all do seem qualified...

Has anyone received their Kinesiology decision? Admissions office said all kinesiology decisions have now been made, but not all have been posted on WA! Admissions officer then said "decisions will be mailed NEXT WEEK!!!"
Has anyone heard from them yet?

I got waitlisted too. :(

Accepting the waitlist isn't binding in anyway. If they go to the waitlist, and end up contacting you, you are not obligated to attend Michigan.
