<p>epidemiological transition model is in correlation with the DTM demographic transition model and shows what and how diseases spread as a country moves through the different stages.
Stage 1: Diseases due to lack of sanitation. Remember that this stage usually has wars, famine. (Black Plague and Dysentery)
Stage 2: Diseases created due to urbanization and related to the clustering of people (overcrowding). Chlorea is an example of water contamination due to sharing of wells.
Stage 3 & 4: Diseases to the elderly (Cancer, respiratory, diabetes)
Stage 5: Reemergence of diseases (Super Virus, Avian flu, MRSA<–staff infection)</p>
