2011 AP Statistics Thread

Just finished the exam. It seemed too easy, especially the frq’s.

umm i did not know the last part of question 6 free response and i doodled a smiley face saying can i get an ESSENTIAL for this part then i drew a “1000000 dollar bill” and said how about now?

will they give me a 0 for that question?
biteme192 is online now

the multiple choice i thought was relatively hard. the frqs i thought were ridiculously easy though! question 6 esp was not as challenging as its chalked up to be.

@biteme no you wont get a 0 for that question i think they asked that question in part d but expected people to think it was harder cuz they hadnt seen that type in stats. it was basic algebra that part idk i think i got the right answer.

Was it a two sample t or a matched pairs t test?

yeah i did that on the space provdied for part d and some of my friends were like they won’t even look at that question and they will give you a 0 for that question but i did do part a,b and c

i did two sample t, because they were different people. Matched pairs t wouldn’t make any sense.

awesome!! some girl that took it earlier got me nervous because she did a matched pairs, but I did two sample  thank you!

@bitme192 that’s hilarious. I doubt they’ll give you a 0 for that question unless the grader seriously has no sense of humor

This test was so much easier than expected. 6 was more algebra than stat. And the multiple choice was so insanely easy that I was legitimately scared while doing it. Especially considering that there isnt a guessing penalty anymore.

Bet there’s going to be a harsh curve…

on Question 6, if you got parts b and c right only, would that be 2/4?

Also what would 28/40 and 3/4, 4/4,4/4,3/4,0/4, 2/4 (question 6) be? 4 or 5?

Wait… On number six part D I thought you were supposed to get an interval not one number?

what was the answer to the MC question about converting the x coordinates and y coordinates into z-scores?

^ r is the same as the original r.

@ Greed
the one towards the end? that’s A. I think.

I made up 2 lists of data on my calculator and did what the question does.

thats wat i got… i just made lists

@zach

yes we need an interval. How do we do that?

Using this, it’s a 5.

I dont know if I did it right, but I took the confidence interval from part A and subtracted the .25 who would get it right from guessing.

6 raped me,

even if i had another month to study
i would have still gotten raped
