oops…

How do you do that one segmented bar chart?

Also, what can I get for number six if I only managed to do parts a and b?

Other than these two, it was easy. Very easy. There were a handful of problems I wasn’t sure about in the MC but overall I think I overstudied.

The segmented bar graph was pretty easy. You basically took the proportion of X Y and Z from the chart and make the same graph for men and women because they were independent. You might get a 2 or 2.5 if your lucky. @any5302003 thats what I did and the difference was like 3% and I’m pretty sure it was right.

took a mock last week and definitely thought it was easier…
6 was my favorite hahahahaha cuz I really understood it and think i did it well.
but yeah, def thought it was easy, which prob means i failed…

Oh for reals?! So you take the sum at the bottom and divide that by the total (500) and then graph that percentage for both men and women right? If so, then I got it right :)

Wow guys seriously?

It’s been less than 4~5 hours since the exam and you’re already discussing:

1) MC QUESTIONS IN VERY HIGH DETAIL!! (these should NEVER be discussed)
2) FRQ’s WITHIN THE 48 HOUR RULE REQUIREMENT.

I would either edit your posts or delete any that break any of these rules… we’re allowed to talk about the test in general until the 48 hours are up to talk about the frq’s… but the MC should never be discussed.

I would be careful because the College Board DOES monitor these forums and, in some instances, actually invalidated the scores of those found to be breaking the rules.

AS FOR WHAT IS ALLOWED. I thought that the MC’s in generally were pretty easy and the FRQ’s of medium difficulty (did leave a part blank though… and I know I totally bombed at least one of the FRQ’s… :/)… Pretty good for not studying but I have MuAlphaTheta to thank for that.

^Welcome to CC

@nuclear

I can’t delete or edit them :(

^ +1.

Which MC were in detail? They all say it was either easy or hard. As for the 48 hour rule, it’s stupid anyway. Is that a magic number or something?

Still don’t get the segmented bar graph.

what about that problem that asked you to convert degrees F to C??

Okay anyway, hypothetically of course, if you are asked on an ap statistics exam in the future, where you have find the interval of the kids who actually knew the question at the .99 alpha, how would you do it? and wouldn’t there be an interval not just one number?

How much do you think the curve will change? On AP Pass it says a 3 is a 37+ o.O.

@momomomo: You must have missed like three pages of discussing questions, and missed the fact that due to time differences, special circumstances of students, and other such things, not everyone finishes taking the test until 48 hours after the first administration of the test.

And I agree with NuclearMatches - everyone should hush up about the MCQ, and wait to discuss the FRQ. You may think it’s fun to poke the dragon, because it doesn’t seem like CollegeBoard has any teeth on here, but they do, and when they do start taking names, people WILL get their scores invalidated.

Really, sir rudeness? All the detailed ones are talking about FRQ’s…did YOU read the past three pages? lol

We we supposed to write our answers in the pink booklet, not the green one, right?

Lebonbonbon — you used the C formula they gave you, and just substituted the 5 degrees F in the equation.

@ CPU but if we plugged that in that would give a negative answer

How would they know which test to invalidate? Not saying we shouldn’t follow the rules but just curious :)

Yeah, I just read the last three pages, and you’re right - they’re mostly about FRQ. Sorry about that. But that doesn’t change the fact that there is a reason for the 48 hour rule.

And it’s ma’am “rudeness,” thank you very much.
