<p>I, like a few other people on here, decided not to look at the thread until I was finished with the application.</p>
<p>I sent mine out yesterday, but under “normal postage” conditions I think? I have no idea, my mom just went to the post office and put all my papers in an envelope, stuck a postcard in there, and added some stamps or something (honestly, who uses snail mail anymore? more importantly, this application would have been so much more easily completed online)</p>
<p>tl;dr, I sent my app yesterday with no extra rushing. Do you guys think it will get there on time?</p>

<p>NotsoProdigious- thats why after submitting something I try to never look at it again. My heart drops when I see those kinds of mistakes</p>
<p>I’m still working and editing my drafts over and over again. I read one of my essays and I dislike it… so I think I have to rewrite that one now. Hopefully my 3am babble will be somewhat comprehensible.</p>
<p>NotsoProdigious- That exact instance happened to me. Luckily, I revised the mistake and called my mom minutes before she went to Kinko’s.</p>
<p>Good job guys! Hope you’re all doing well and have already mailed or are overnighting today! Writing application essays can be stressful, especially for RSI where they’re so critical, but if you put in work now it’ll really pay off next year when you already have stuff you can use for college essays. </p>
<p>Now you should try to relax, breathe, and try to forget about RSI until you get that letter in March. I know that’s easy to say and really hard to do, but be proud you went through a tough application process. :)</p>

<p>Darn, a lot of snow just came through my area, so I hope my application still gets there on time. The expected arrival date was Thursday so I still have an additional “safety” day I guess.</p>

<p>Haha, after the most hectic day of my life, I was able to send in the application just 30 minutes before FedEx had to ship off all of their packages. Many sleepless nights passed as I worked on this, and all my blood and sweat went into the package (even though the envelope said no blood samples). I won’t be able to take a sigh of relief until I receive my postcard back, but I feel much better than I did at 3am for the last couple of nights. I can truly say I worked my hardest, and I won’t have any regrets. </p>
<p>Hopefully, my passion really shines through and I’m able to touch the hearts of the gatekeepers in Virginia. :3</p>
