2011 SAT March: Writing

Sorry guys its 1 in the morning - I’m just trying to have some fun.

Haha, I’m on the West Coast so it’s around 10 here.
Daylight savings tonight though, fun times

ewww, when I wake up at 1pm tomorrow, it’s really going to be 2pm.
Just kidding, I’m not that bad yet.
But still. DST is a bit depressing.

Still, at least the SAT’s are over with right?
I love all you guys here. I’m much too impatient to wait three weeks to know how I did.

haha, same!
My parents keep yelling at me to get away from the computer. They say it’s only going to upset me, but I can’t help it :)

Haha it’d be cool if all us CC’ers from across the U.S. eventually ended up at the same colleges somewhere.

That would be…strange!
I did find someone from my sat prep class on these threads today, though. It really is a small world!

Can anyone remind me of what the e-book paragraph was about? I had the writing experimental so I only remember the other one…Thanks

GUYS! For the FIRST grammatical error section (#12) did u guys pick A?

The question was like: The National Park - an acknowledged as a treasure…blah blah…

I picked A because “acknowledged” sounded awkward?

Yes, the answer was A. The national park, a WHAT acknowledged as a treasure?? The sentence is missing a noun.

you guys remember how there were two colon questions?
did you guys put no colon for the first one and colon for the second one??

I dun remeber clearly but I definitely remember putting a colon for one of the questions :P

did anybody else get a no error for question 23?

Wait guys! The question about how to combine the two sentences about cars being lemons, what did you put? I put “someone may try to sell you a lemon, which is…”

nope i didn’t pick that. i think there was a better answer.

ughhh im so bad at that part…what was the other answer?

Anyone else write about the Kardashians for the reality prompt?

What was the answer to the one on the math section where there were 4 squares with sides of 4 3 2 and 1, and you had to figure out the smallest perimeter that you could get by touching the squares together in different combos. I had only a few minutes left, so tried a bunch of different ways and either got 26 or higher, but I’ve heard 24. Which was it?

AW poop it was 24, I just did it :stuck_out_tongue: darndarndarn

For the paragraphs one… there was the “cost” not “costs” so that’s why i didn’t pick that. since they listed three things… so what would it be?
