2011 UCLA Transfers: The Central Thread for Discussion and Decisions

Yeah, we should create a new thread on decision day and have everyone post stats…this will help the next batch of transfers.

Please don’t create the new thread now, wait until the moment decisions are released.

LOL omg guys…remind me never to leave my lappy/cell lying around :D

and yeep i think the first person who learns of his or her admission should come straight to CC, post a thread with organized stats, and THEN go tell his or her loved ones about the major victory…or failure.

I might have a hard time bringing myself to post anything if I’m rejected…I’m really trying to stay positive though, I feel like it helps better my chances :p

blackmamba8- mine says completed in both the box and the red letters say “completed” as well. Both dated at 4-15-2011. in financial aid document tracking.

man, it seems a lot of people are able to see the tracking /FA stuff, it seems like its not as rare as people made it out to seem last year. I feel that only the people that see it are accepted :{

nabilesmail- do you see your fa info in URSA yet?

If I’m trying to log in for the first time, do I create a log-in first? Do I check new student?

@Nick - from your post to me a couple days ago. I agree you should be one of the 3.4’s admitted but also don’t think you have a 3.4. I told you this before but I went to an OOSU and only a handful of my credits transferred. I know this for sure because at a summer program at UCLA I was able to meet up with an evaluator. I’m sure not many of your LAC credits will transfer.

I know we said that URSA doesn’t indicate anything yet, but it still freaks me out that I can’t see my info…

^I asked Irvine, which admitted me, what my transferrable GPA was determined to be. They said it was 3.52, meaning most of the OOS units transferred.

Hopefully UCLA is stricter with awarding transfer credit. I can say that few of the classes match well with courses offered by UCLA, but there’s a big grey area.

And @dystaxia, yeah you put new student. Otherwise it doesn’t let you make an account.

In case anyone is curious, this is what it looks like…

The URSA website won’t let me logon, even thought I went through the entire process. I am really just curious at this point. It just says I can’t have access at this time. Am I missing something? Ugh, I just need a distraction.

Nevermind!

And nothing. Damn!

yah i got nothing on mine =[

Mine says that they haven’t even received my FAFSA. Anyone else have the same problem?

Not for me they said that they received my fafsa

No tap for me

@natjan what were your stats again?

I hope its like the threads from years past say, and that not everyone who can’t see the URSA is denied. Also, I hope it is indeed this Wednesday… anyone know what time they were released last year?
