I can log in and send an email! but no major on myUCLA so not looking good for me haha

Major: Chemistry B.S.
Prereq GPA: 3.5
Alternative: Anthropology B.A.
prereq GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 3.3-3.4 (depending on articulation from my previously attended 4-year)

How about you?

GPA: 3.0-3.1
Major: Chem
Units: 62
ECs: work at a group home for boys, swim coach, I give flute lessons, Tutor dyslexic children, I do a little work with NEDA (National Eating Disorder Association), crew, rugby, Delta Delta Delta sorority (I used to go to CSULB)
Essays: I wrote about leaving college to go to eating disorder rehab… I think it was pretty well written, I focused more on the recovery and growing as a person aspect no the me being sick part

So basically I’m going to Davis next year haha but that’s ok I actually really like davis

Major: History
GPA: 3.4
Prereqs completed for history. Only prereq for women’s studies not offered at the 4 ccs i attended.
Hopefully TAP will help us.

I wouldn’t give up hope. I’ve seen some pretty low acceptances from UCLA in the past two years. (Friends/Classmates)

yeah I think I have a LITTLE bit of a shot just because my last 2 semesters have been really good. My GPA is so low because of the time I was sick and in and out of the hospital so we will see

Somebody posted an official UCLA Tap statistics PDF that showed that in the 2009-2010 year, 91% of TAP humanities majors were accepted.

I have yet to see someone with a non-impacted major and TAP get rejected. hopefully I wont be my first experience :/

I talked to someone in admissions on a consistent basis over this last semester, and he told me that Upward Grade trend looks really good. Even more so if you have a compelling reason behind the previous mistakes.

I wouldn’t count yourself out shellbell

@ berkeleyphil. thanks, but i still can’t log-in to my e-mail =/ i know i’m typing in the right password cuz im able to log-in to URSA.

so far I cannot see my FA summary, but can create an e-mail address that I can’t log into.

International Development, 3.65GPA. My GPA shot up from a 3.15-3.65 last semester, so hopefully that’ll go in my favor =/

My friend told me that his friend who works in the admin office and he said that the UCLA transfer decision will come out on the 24th. I do not know credible it is but I just wanted to throw it out there.

@iZychr

You don’t actually add a class–you just get to the main “I want to mess around with my summer schedule” screen. You don’t even search for classes.

@pankay

On a Sunday?

Everyone’s been giving different dates as to when decisions will be released, so allow me to join the fray.

Decisions will most likely be released between now and the 29th.

@nick
Okay, now I have a ucla email that won’t login, and a myucla page that doesn’t have my major on the top right corner.

Thanks! I guess I’m better prepared for a rejection now. My housing doesn’t work either.

@Levonid

I propose as well that:

“Decisions will be released at some point in time”

Ya the 24th is on Saunday

Ok so I have class in an hour and some change. Gonna stop in to see this UCLA rep and see if I can get ANY info…will report back. Wish me luck!

@Cactusbass

Luck has been wished for

It eases my mind that TAP students with non-impacted (alternate) majors still can’t view their finaid URSA stuff. I thought I was alone.

3.4
History (alt. Anthropology)
all prereqs complete.

Good luck Cactusbass
