<p>APIASF:</a> Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund. Today's Minds, Tomorrow's Future®

Deadline: January 13th, 2012</p>

<p>•Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census
•Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply
•Be enrolling in a U.S. accredited college or university in the Fall of 2012. Please read each listing for specific eligibility requirements regarding the academic standing required for each scholarship.
•Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED
•Must apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1
•Submit one letter of recommendation</p>

<p>APIASF Scholarship List</p>

<p>APIASF awards scholarships, ranging from $2,500 to $5,000, to hundreds of deserving students each year. Last year, APIASF awarded over 500 scholarships to AAPI students.</p>

<p>High school seniors, or GED earners entering their first year of college in the Fall of 2012.</p>

<p>no, we don’t have to send our transcript at this point. however, they will contact you later if they want you to send them.</p>

<p>I’m confused. I certified and requested my recommendation, but nothing happens. it just says “Your application has been certified but is not complete. Please make sure your recommender submits their recommendation by the deadline.” Shouldn’t it say thank you for submitting your application?</p>

<p>Joeahn, you need your recommender to submit his/her recommendation. So be sure to ask and make sure he/she received the e-mail and knows the deadline.</p>

<p>I received an award notice in early January and haven’t heard anything back from them since then. Anyone else have a similar experience?</p>

<p>Weird, cause I found that I received the Edison scholrship like a month ago lol</p>
