@desire800 i got 8% for the problem where the ones digit is double the tens digit

12, 24, 36, 48 are the only numbers between (and including) 2 and 50 by which the ones digit is double the tens digit. This means 4/49 x 100% = 8.16%, or 8%

I could be wrong, and if I am, someone please explain

i thought it was (-3,0) as the center. I got 16% for the double digits one but I wasn’t sure

Runallday, usnfilms -

It was only even numbers from 1-50, hence 4/25 = 16%

Explanation from previous reply: 16% - the numbers 12, 24, 36, 48 - 4 numbers out of 25 possible options (1-50 evens)

runallday-

it was all ‘even’ numbers up to 50. i almost got tricked up by that

What was the Reading answer to the question about the person who said that photography is a mirror or whatever would most likely agree with?

only even numbers for the 2-50 double tens digit question

what was the perimeter for the similar triangles one?

damn it, it was only EVEN numbers. there goes my 36

beachglass-

It was a 2/3 ratio and the first had perimeter of 20. So the answer was 30. Or was it not that simple?

@ battlebrick

I don’t think (-3,0) was the center. I believe it said the radius was 5, and the other two points were (1,0) and (-7,0)

perimeter was 20 or 30 (i think 30), i forgot which triangle it was asking for. ratio was 2:3, etc.

what did you guys get on the xz/y problem? i said 56

It was that simple but I kept reading it as if the 2nd triangle was smaller. Fortunately that wasn’t an answer choice so I went with 30

MarkyMark -

I’m pretty sure 30 is right, that was all there was to it

I got that too. Wait for question 39 about college tuition what was the answer for how much he paid over 4 years?

it was definitely 56. z had to be 16, y had to be 7 or 8. I just happened to plug in the right numbers and got 56.

What was the Reading answer to the question about the person who said that photography is a mirror or whatever would most likely agree with?

====

I put people who like to watch concerts on a CD and not Live or whatever. I’m not sure if that was right.

Wait for question 39 about college tuition what was the answer for how much he paid over 4 years?

===

I put 6000 hope I was right

usnfilms - I got 56 too

@usnfilms since y=2 and x=16 and z=7 or 8 (I think)
