<p>@KimichiBoy- They do notify you for art if you did not win anything but not writing. And as others have said writing results will not be posted until the 30th.</p>

I submitted an art portfolio and and 4 or 5 individual drawings/paintings.</p>

<p>My sister sent in a journalism-type piece, as well as 4 other short fiction pieces. I won a Silver Key in this competition last year, and I consider her to be a much better writer even though she’s only a freshman, so I’m expecting her to get at least one Gold Key.

<p>Seriously, though - her journalism piece made me (and our mom) weep, and we’re usually not very emotional people…</p>

<p>calm down a little :] I don’t think it’s reasonable to start freaking out until about february 1st or 2nd because for me it says winners will be notified before or on feb 1st.</p>
<p>I’m rather confident that I have won SOME regional award this time… at least I hope so. It would be terrible if I didn’t get anything considering I got some recognition at regional last time x_x</p>

<p>I have a suggestion: anyone post their results, follow this format:</p>
<p>[awards]/[region]/[category]</p>
<p>For example:
[awards] is: “Gold Key” or “Sliver Key” or “Honorable mention”</p>
<p>[region] is “Northeast” or “South” or “Midwest” or “West”</p>
<p>[category] is: “Art - Drawing”, “wrting - short story”, etc,etc,etc.</p>
<p>or region can also be RAL (“region at large”)</p>

<p>I got my results in my spam mail box! Won Gold and Silver key for my drawings ^^…although it’s strange how they even awarded me anything when I didn’t mail in the forms or anything…</p>
