Today is a good day.

@iDizzle
Apparently, I just checked after UCTransferninja mentioned it. I hadn’t been checking all week so I’m not sure exactly when it updated, but I just logged onto the portal and received this msg:

Dear “questnevyrthng”,

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the University of California, San Diego – congratulations on your admission to Revelle College as a major in Molecular Biology! Your admission offer begins with the Fall 2012 term.

UC San Diego is one of the nation’s premier universities, and as we embark on our second half-century, we are pleased to invite you to be part of our legacy as we move forward. Welcome to your future!

This online process will walk you through the steps to accept our offer of admission. You’ll be able to submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to say yes to UC San Diego, complete your Statement of Legal Residence (SLR), learn more about Revelle and track the required steps to complete the admission process. You will also find the Triton Admit Guide with important campus information.

Watch for your Admit Packet in the mail and be sure to save the date for Transfer Admit Day. Saturday, May 12, 2012 is the perfect time to visit the campus.

Remember the deadline for accepting UC San Diego’s offer of admission is June 01, 2012.

Congrats to everyone that got in! :)

I haven’t checked in a week or two as well, just checking while waiting on UCLA to come back online. Congrats to everyone else who got in

Dear Miggaletoe,

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the University of California, San Diego – congratulations on your admission to Eleanor Roosevelt College as a major in Chemical Engineering! Your admission offer begins with the Fall 2012 term.

Think I am going to stick with UCSB but might have to go check it out before making my final decision.

And does anyone know if its possible to switch colleges at UCSD? I couldn’t find which was the engineering school until after I sent in my app. Don’t think I will even consider going unless I can switch to Warren

Congrats Dilapidatedmind, UCSD and UCLA on the same day isn’t too bad :stuck_out_tongue: See you at SD if you pick it over UCLA/Cal!

ARGH!! Still nothing but I got into Davis today! Cal next week and the…third…batch…next week. Congrats to all!

Just checked today and I’m in! Got into Revelle which was my third choice.

Thanks jdom24, thank you for your support on these forums throughout this whole time. It’s such a relief to finally get into the UCs I wanted to after getting accepted to a few last year, but taking a gamble to stay in CC one more year. It’s such a relief considering this has now been a year and a half long process. I’m just so excited. And that could be a real possibility. I was in La Jolla for spring break and absolutely love the area, I just have to check out UCLA/Cal to see how they compare. Hopefully see you at UCSD! :)

Interesting, I just got accepted (aerospace engineering/sixth college). Didn’t really plan on going to a UC now I might consider it.

Accepted
Major: Human Biology
School: Revelle
GPA: 4.0
Pre-reqs: All completed.

Just got rejected from UCLA with Regents. Going to UCSD!

OMG
ACCEPTED!!!
Major: Literatures in English
School: Thurgood Marshall
GPA: 3.52
Out of state transfer

@MsUC & @Stressy Did they specifically say you were rejected? Or did you just not get a decision yet?

So by batch, do they release it all in one shot or is this rolling throughout the evening?

@stressy: Whats your major and GPA?! Congrats to those who got in!!!

Wow, I got into UCSD, but I didn’t get into any of my majors :frowning: I applied as a mechanical engineering major as my first choice and aerospace as my second. Does anyone know how hard it is to switch into a major after being admitted? I was accepted to Warren College.
