I’m on the Barnard Waitlist</3 Anyone have any information/updates?! My fingers are crossed #dreamcollege

Someone on the Carleton page posted a letter from admissions saying they won’t use the wait list this year.

I take back what I said about Princeton. Several people are confirming that they have received the letters saying it is closed.

Seems 4 kids have gotten off the WL of Davidson

2 people on Cornell board say they were called yesterday (Saturday) and offered spots. I’m not sure if its legit; i’m surprised that Cornell would make the calls over a weekend. Has anyone else seen or heard anything from Cornell?

Actually, it seems a number of people have posted on Cornell board that they’ve been accepted from waitlist. that’s good news! Using my phone so can’t cut and paste update list.

I believe that Dartmouth is done for now (may change with the summer melt).

Posted on the Dartmouth board

Dear xxxxxx,

Since May 1st, the Admissions Committee has monitored changes in Dartmouth’s entering class enrollment closely. Earlier this week, we contacted a small number of students who were admitted from the waiting list into the Class of 2016.

In the coming weeks, we will continue to watch the changes in the number of students planning to enroll in Dartmouth’s first year class. At the present time, we cannot predict if we will be able to admit additional students into the Class of 2016. If we are able to take further action, we will once again review the applications of students who have remained on the active waiting list.

Has anyone heard anything about Boston College’s waiting list?

Wash U letter indicated they are full and not taking any from the WL.

Anyone knows when will Lafayette College give out their waitlist outcome?
It’s a harsh time for waiting.

I just heard of one person (on the Boston College thread) getting off of Boston College’s waitlist.

so i actually called washu to ask if they were taking anyone off the waitlist or not bc my friend had not received that email and they said no…two seconds later my friend texts me saying the same lady that i had just spoken to (head of admissions) just called her and accepted her off the waitlist and they are only accepting 20-30 but it’s not enough for her to announce they are going to it (which is bull). so yes they are accepting they are just saying that they aren’t

Adding Cornell (post #149) and Emory (per hoops19 on the Emory forum – off the WL as of 05/14/12). Good luck to all who are still waiting.
