We’re probably hearing back in the next week!!!

AHHHH

[Scholarship Application Process | Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation](Programs - Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation)
says decision on finalists selection will be made mid Feb so another 5 weeks!

On our semifinalist forms, it says semi-finalists will be notified mid January so that the finalists can be ready for the interviews starting in late January

Yep, the most recent email said mid-January xD

Plus, the website says the Semifinalists submit materials by early January, and we were done by late December.

I’m assuming the dates were changed to be earlier this year.

The website for the most part has not been updated of the proper numbers and dates of the timeline and selection process based on what I have seen in recent days/weeks. There is no mention of the recent change to 150 winners and the separate stage/distinction of “Finalist.”

Hm. From what I’m seeing with @cokescholars on Twitter, we will know by the end of the month if not next week.

Hey you guys I am a scholar from Washington as well and as I reading your comments I’m getting nervous. I thought that your top ten list elaborate on #4 was discussing your top ten community service projects from question #4.

Coca Cola Scholars posted on their instagram page that the finalists have been selected! Good luck to everyone! Hopefully we will know within the next week. :)

wwxcrunner1, you could do your top 10 on any subject. So you are just fine :)

thanks Toetoe I’m so nervous. I wonder if they are going to base it more off of involvement in the community or test scores like SAT and ACT.

Has anyone heard anything???

i havent -.-

Other thread has a post that finalists will hear by end of today…

Just finalists?

Just heard back. My daughter is a finalist.

I got one email at 10:37 am about entering the Coca-Cola Emory Scholar survey. Just got my notification email about finalist status at 4:11 pm! Both came in my inbox rather than in my spam folder like the semifinalist notification did.

Unfortunately, no statistics about how many were chosen as finalists. Best of luck to everyone. Hope you all hear good news!

My counselor called Coca-Cola Scholars. Here is how it works this year–250 FINALISTS chosen now. That is now DIFFERENT from SCHOLARS. They get $1000. From the 250, all have a regional interview. From that interview, 150 are chosen as SCHOLARS who go to Atlanta and get the $20,000 scholarships and vie for an additional $10,000 that 10 SCHOLARS will get.

I am a finalist!

DS is a finalist.
Jamini, thank you for sharing about this year’s new rule. The e-mail only say that he is a finalist and next step is regional interview.

didn’t make it. but not getting through doesn’t downplay our accomplishments, remember that
