This is just ridiculous. This is my only CSU I am waiting on so I will have to wait much longer for the UC’s… but I just want my decision! They need to at least say a TIME FRAME … a REAL one… not a made up one that contradicts what other’s say. I just got an email from UCSC saying that my admissions decision will be up (according to my last name) on March 17th at 4 am. Obviously I won’t wake up at that time, but it is nice of them to let us know an actual time frame.

Has any Spanish majors been accepted? I have become extremely impatient with SDSU admissions process because SDSU is my number one school of choice but my number two choice CSULB has already accepted me and their housing application has already came out a week ago. The longer I wait for SDSU admission notice, the housing for CSULB is filling up. I really just want to know my admission status soon because it worries me if I wait to long and SDSU doesn’t accept me then I won’t be able to get on campus housing for CSULB. I am a community college student from the central valley of California and my Major is Spanish and my gpa is a 3.19

what are my chances?
major: criminal justice
72 units and golden 4 will be completed by May.
gpa: 2.9
transfer student with an AA in criminal justice and will be completing my AS-T by the end of spring.
transferring from: merced college (it’s in the central valley of CA. about an hour past fresno.
i’ve already been accepted into CSULA just waiting to hear back from SDSU and CSUSM.
admission status: pending as of october 3, 2013
which i’m guessing means they haven’t even looked at my application yet and SDSU is my first choice.

@Moniiique- You are right, an AA/AS-T does not guarantee you admission into the school you apply for or your local school, it only guarantees your admission into A school in the CSU system. However, SDSU gives priority to those in its local area with AA/AS-T. The only way a qualified local area AA/AS-T applicant would not get accepted to SDSU is if there are more local AA/AS-T applicants than there are spaces in the major. In that case, those applicants would be ranked based on GPA and the spots would be filled based on that.

TAG is still used for the majors that do not have AA/AS-T’s. TAG is a guaranteed admission agreement for those who meet the requirements.

any other criminal justice majors on here applying with an AA-T or AS-T??

@underthestars early in the week. thursday the latest.

I’m guessing the next batch will go out around the same time as last week, Tuesday - Thursday

What are my chances?
Major: Accounting
GPA:3.59
Tranfering from Cal Poly Pomona
i don’t think i have an associates, i finished all my prerequisites, GE’s, and the golden four.
However, when i went to talk to one of the people from student services they said that i was under the TAG program, but as far as i know the TAG is only for students who finish 100% percent of their class in a local community college. All my classes are from Cal Poly and idk why that is there.

Good luck everyone!
