Have any social work majors heard?
I’m dying to find out if i’ve been accepted or not!
I have all general ed reqs done and all major prep is taken or being taken currently. I am from SD but i took 21 units at CSUSM so I was told TAG wasn’t an option for me. I’m trying to get in with a 3.64.

@Funnyguy17 How do you know all business majors haven’t been admitted yet? From past years it seems as if everyone that was admitted was basically admitted on the first day.

I am still pending today. Anyone hear anything yet today? Also, did everyone’s decisions come at the same time yesterday or did some come later than others?

Driving myself crazy refreshing every couple hours! So I seen one psych major got accepted congrats! Anymore psych majors out there? I have my AA-T in psych from a local CC and about a 3.0 gpa but I’m a former SDSU student so I’m somewhat worried about that part! I just need to know soooon…

@Moniiique

I am still pending as well. It’s driving me insane, been refreshing every 5 minutes -_-. I am business though.

Hi! I am a health communications major. 3.2 GPA from the local SD area, but i also have some credits from Santa Barbara so i was unable to to the TAG program. I thought I was all set for the AA-T and I just called my school to verify and they said they only had me in the computer for a normal AA. They said they’re fixing it but I’m freaking out because the AA-T verifications need to be sent to SDSU by March 15th and I’m just praying they don’t screw up again. Needless to say my decision is still “pending”. Good luck to everyone!

simplylovely- I went to UCSB too! I got denied last year and took a few more classes and raised up my GPA to 3.4 and now I am just waiting. It’s VERY dumb that to get the TAG you have to take all of your classes at a local community college. I am from SD but because I went to a better school they won’t let me do the TAG lol

@simplylovely cool I’m doing health comm too!

Anyway, so guys I called SDSU twice to get two different counselor’s opinions (lol I wanted to be sure). They said everyone with the AS-T degree won’t find out their status until April 1 because once March 15 comes along (which is their deadline for receiving the verification that you’re earning the degree), that is when they will begin to evaluate our applications and make decisions. I asked if that would interfere with seating availability because ok, if they’re accepting regular transfer applicants before us, doesn’t that mean they’re getting seats first and we’ll be left with none?? Well they answered that question and said it won’t affect the seating availability and that we’d still get in as long as we have the verification sent by March 15.

I guess I’m waiting one more month to find out

@taylorsams13 no way i went to ucsb as well, for 2 years. i had a 3.24 there and a 4.0 CC gpa this year, just about 3.5 overall now. applied for business here. we get screwed by this process. they need to look at it holistically and not just number crunch.

ole ole ole ole GAUCHOS GAUCHOSSSSS

Can someone explain the AA-T/AS-T verification? Do I call my CC to do it or do I send it myself? I’ve heard too many conflicting answers what have you guys done?

^ Please yes. I don’t understand what I need to do. I applied as a business admin major with emphasis in accounting. The accounting major does not directly have an articulating AS/T but I still will be receiving one. According to SDSU’s website the Business Administration AS/T is only good for the financial information and the general business emphasises. What exactly do I need to do…? I’m still pending with every major prep and igetc completed. And a 3.61 GPA plus the AS/T by end of this semester.

Every school’s policy is different so you will need to call your school and ask what you need to do. Some schools will send the AA-T verification to SDSU themselves electronically and some will require you to send it yourself. Definitely call your school! I got a lot of information today and they’ll do a much better job at explaining it then I can.

@christinedoz Thanks for the information. It makes sense that ours will take longer to process since the verification deadline isn’t even until March 15th. Makes me feel a little bit better. Now it’s just a waiting game!

Thanks @ajmarr ! I’ve been going onto web portal and trying to look for an update, but as of now I’m still pending Have any Political Science majors heard anything yet?

same here i been waiting for mines to change as well. Any computer science major got accepted yet?

So I answered my own question… I just went to SDSU and submitted my AA-T verification with the office of admission prospective students in person and apparently any AA/AS-T applicant will not get an answer from SDSU until April 1st because they are allowing time for all the ADT applicants to turn in their verification forms… Ughhhh.

I assume ADT means associate degree for transfer just guessing.

That can’t be true… There are people on this thread that got accepted with an AA-T. I think SDSU is doing the same thing as they did last year. Lying to appease people. :(

@taylorsams13 if you had anything else like TAG or if your AA/AS did not apply to the major then it doesn’t affect you. You can have an ADT but it doesn’t apply to your major so it didn’t matter.

I just called admissions. They told me they just started the admittance process and it will take the whole month to go over all the applications for every major. I’m going to take that as a good sign for myself.

@Tbdice But if that is in fact the case, why are there 20+ people on this thread alone who have already been admitted?
