I think they may be going by area. Everyone in this thread that was admitted was either in or very near San Diego

I’m just saying they’re still reviewing them, and they haven’t made all of their final decisions yet for accounting. We still have hope.

im in sd and ive heard nothing

@Funnyguy17 There have been a few people that have said they’ve been admitted from the Bay Area.

I was told to have my CC fax ANY verification that I’ll be earning the AS-T degree by this semester, whether it’s the copy of the petition form you were supposed to submit earlier or simply a letter from your counselor saying you’ll earn it. So it doesn’t need to be an official document or anything, just have your CC communicate with SDSU to let them know you’re on track to earn the degree. DO THIS BY MARCH 15 OR THEY WILL DENY YOU. I just called today and that’s what they said.

Major- Social Work
Decision- pending
GPA- 3.41
Location- San Diego
All pre reqs done. 34 units from LA college and 34 units from SD college

My friend got accepted yesterday Into the same program as me but through TAG with a 2.5 GPA

Do you get an email if you weren’t accepted as well?

Not me, but my fiance:

Major - Criminal Justice
Decision - PENDING
Location - North San Diego County (Oceanside, CA)
GPA - 3.02

I’m really worried about his GPA. He was rejected 2 years ago because of a super low GPA and incomplete pre-reqs. He’s bumped up his GPA a lot since then but we’re still really worried. He does not have an AAT. Hopefully the department is still making decisions though. No one on this thread has mentioned criminal justice admissions yet. I emailed SDSU about the CJ department, but haven’t heard back yet. Here’s hoping :)

Major - Business Administration- Management
Location - Chicago, Il.
GPA -2.97
Decision-Admitted
I got my decision on Wednesday afternoon. I completed all my GE requirements and all of my major prep courses except one.

hahah yeah right ^^^.

Anyone have any idea when the next batch is going to be released?

I called the admissions office today and asked to speak to the head supervisor and she said they will be sending out batches up until the end of May. she also said that each batch is once a week and it consists of approximately 250 people every week depending on the majors in each batch.

@joogman23

Thanks!

ACCEPTED

Major: Film Production, minor in Marketing

Transferring from San Diego Miramar/Mesa college

GPA: 3.45

IGETC and all pre req’s done, Major prep done

Accepted to LongBeach, CSU LA, Northridge, and SDSU

Why do they keep sending out decisions in “batches”? I honestly cannot be waiting until the end of May. Some of the other schools that I have applied to as a backup require me to submit an Intent to Enroll before then.

Any sociology majors accepted yet?

@joogman23 Did she really say that? I don’t know how that could possibly be true, because every other UC and CSU needs intent to enroll by May 1st. Including SDSU.

<a href=“Transfer Students | SDSU”>Transfer Students | SDSU;

Also, I haven’t actually submitted my AA-T verification yet… do you think that’s why I don’t have an acceptance yet? I’ve been waiting to see my counselor. I didn’t think that would affect when they release decisions, because I assumed that they’ve made the decisions already and they would just rescind their admission if it turned out I didn’t have an AA-T like I said. That’s what the application made it sound like, anyway.

I went through ALL of this last year. Everyone who called got a different answer. Some were just complete lies with no logic behind them. Others were just enough of a lie to not cause suspicion. It was very frustrating. The latest they went out last year was beginning of April. I got my rejection mid march. It doesn’t look like anyone has gotten admitted after Wednesday. I wonder when the next “batch” would be. They REALLY just need to tell all of their employees the same message to tell applicants, not have them make up their own.

Anybody heard anything on their status of admission?? :/
