Hello everyone! Congratulations to all of you who have made it to the next round! :) Wish you all the best of luck! I was thinking we could share questions, comments and tips here.
Have any of you guys been able to contact the coca cola scholars foundation? I am always put on hold for such a long time! Anyone else having similar issues?

I’ve only contacted them once and that was through email. They responded the next day. @RememberToSmile

How are the essays going for everyone/how did they? Which one was most difficult?

@NabintouD the essays are coming pretty slow. I have the first drafts of my first three, but my last one isn’t progressing very well. I find the last one and the tweet one the most difficult to think of.

The about my career/field of interest was most difficult for me. @premedbound15

When do you plan to mail your application off? @NabintouD

The tweet is super cool and annoying at the same time. How is everyone doing with that one? This is all super exciting!

Today. @premedbound15

I thought the same thing about the tweet. Lol. @nayasta9

I think I might mail mine in Dec. 20th because it gets crazy busy around the holidays.
Essays are going well, but what what kinds of “additional courses” have you guys done?

I’ll mail mine later too. I’ll probably just use the USPS two-day shipping so I have more time with my essays.

Signed. Sealed. Delivered. May the results be in our favor(s)

For the letters of recommendation, those need to be in a sealed envelope with a signature over them right?
And did you guys fill out all of your forms electronically?

What do you mean by “signature over them”?

And no, due to the character limit, I contacted them asking if it was okay to write some things in and they said that’s fine as long as the writing is legible. @RememberToSmile

Meaning the person who wrote your letter of recomendation signed over the envelope so they know it’s confidential. I think you only have to do it if you waived your rights on common app (FERPA).

How complete are your questionnaire’s? Are you filling in all the lines or is it ok if we leave some blank? There are so many lines!

I mailed mine out this past Friday. Lol, a couple of my lines were blank.

I hated how many blanks they gave us for each category. I wonder if any applicants filled an entire section. I also didn’t like the word limit. I attached a separate paper because I used so many acronyms.

So happy they received my application. Sent it so close to the deadline.
Congrats! Best of luck to us all
Last year the regional finalists were notified on January 16th, any clue as to when this years decisions will be sent out? It only says “Late January” on the website.
So weird as I was looking at this thread I got a call from Atlanta, Georgia and sure enough it was Coke scholars asking me for my leadership essay. Apparently it was missing from my application
