@lbstudies that’s what I was thinking but I know people who are business majors and they’ve received their decisions already. And business was on that list. So I honestly don’t know what to think now.
Did anyone transferring for economics get in yet?
@peter0001 finally another econ major here. SDSU has a economics AAT agreement with only 2 schools, Bakersfield college and American river college. No schools in SDSU’s local area has AAT Economics yet.
@supamill just maintain a grade of C or better, they didnt indicate min. GPA

@alelii yeah, I have my English adt but I applied for the single subject teaching major which does not take it into consideration. My only thing is my overall major does accept adts so I’m not sure if im going to be lumped with all of those applicants or what.

yeah they stopped the tag for social work like last year I believe. I did a workshop for the sdsu app and the speaker was telling us this

Why do transfers with an ADT get decisions after regular transfers? I though having the transfer degree was priority.
@Mak209 I was confused at first too but the best way I can explain it is that they automatically hold spots for ADT students and depending on if their degree is verified, they are given priority over other transfers. Those who fail to complete their ADT have a higher chance of being rejected, leaving more open spots for non local and non ADT transfers.

@eugenius310 Im a social work major as well and it is still pending on my portal. I was unaware that it wasn’t a part of the TAG program. So because we aren’t a part of that should we be hearing before the beginning of April?

I am so late to the discussion. I received the acceptance email today. I have been biting my nails all week.
Major: Comparative Literature
Location: city college
GPA: 3.0
Status: Accepted
Accepted!!!
3.63 GPA
Business Admin/Finance
AS-T degree, but it doesn’t apply to my major, so I think that’s why I got a decision so early
IGETC and all SDSU pre-req courses completed.
Transferring from UCSB (trust me it’s complicated)
Not 100% sure on if I’ll go, but the temptation is very much there.
Word for the wise:
I applied last year under the AS-T Business Admin. SDSU was without a doubt my dream school.
When decisions came out in April, I was unfortunately denied.
I was crushed. But I made the most of what I could, and decided to try another school.
I applied to SDSU on a whim this year, and surely enough it worked out.
If things don’t work out, don’t stress. Go to another school, and make the most of it.
If you feel so inclined, apply to SDSU again next year.
Don’t dwell on failure, because I can tell you that failure has taught me a lot over the past year.
