Hey guys! I’m new on here but I’ve been following this forum for a few weeks now. I’m actually applying to McCombs so thank you all for all the great information thus far! I just got off the phone with UT Admissions a few minutes ago and the guy I talked to said that it looked like many of the decisions were gonna be late. They would be sending out a good portion of them today including after hours, but it looked like they would be spilling into tomorrow and next week

Quick question for those in the know. Read many posts here - Curious - if you have a 4.0, 32 hours of transferable credits in a Texas college, you are a Texas resident & applying to transfer into McCombs — has anyone ever heard of one not gretting accepted???

@bevo2017 As long as you have Micro/Macro/Cal1/Cal2 finished, you will very likely get accepted. I have looked around for the exact scenario you described, but haven’t found anyone.

ugh I just called them and they did confirm the delays as many application decisions “haven’t been finalized yet.” they also said that they update their systems in the afternoon and in the evening so maybe there’ll be a big wave here in a few hours…

@UTChemTransfer i’ve seen your posts a couple times on here and wish I could answer but I’m really not sure. I think for natural sciences the general consensus is a GPA of 3.7+, you probably have a solid chance at English though, a lot of people were admitted to COLA last year with 3.1s-3.3s (however they did not specify if they were CAP or not). My second choice is also in COLA so lets hope we both get accepted!
