Yea I doubt anything is coming out today for the rest of us.
prob tmmrw morning
how we pay a $75 application fee when a majority of us don’t get on decisions on the deadline.
I thought the anxiety of not knowing would be done by today… I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep tonight @-)
@madeleine2020 There’s a few things you can consider and decide which path you think works best for you, both of those are viable options. First when UT looks at internal transfers they look to make sure you will graduate on time, so they like you to have core classes mostly done and having the few classes for a RTF degree you can take while not in the major done. Which is the other thing, you can take RTF classes when not in the RTF degree but I don’t think any of them will count for an RTF degree, maybe one will (I think it depends on your degree plan). You need to fulfill flags which you can do several of, I think 3 or 4) while not in the RTF degree because they are not RTF classes. I would look at how many core classes you need and look up the rtf degree plan and check how many flags you would need and figure out if it would take you 3 long semesters (1 at cc and 2 at UT) or 4 long semesters ( 2 at cc and 2 at UT) to complete as much of it as possible. Also you only get two attempts to transfer internally to Moody, so keep that in mind when planning. I got accepted as an internal transfer to RTF for this coming fall from a COLA major. Let me know if you’d like more info and I can help.
I feel like they’ll just randomly drop a bunch of decisions tonight at like 10 or 11
@newyorkgs Why do you think so?
based on nothing other than how unpredictable this has been thus far, and how late they released their decisions last year. I also feel like that if they don’t release a bulk of their decisions tonight, they’ll face a plethora of angry and confused phone calls
Complacency at its finest. They can afford to miss deadlines like this because the demand to go to UT is so high
@newyorkgs I hope you’re right! Definitely calling in the morning to see what’s going on. I called admissions on the 13th, and she said to definitely call if you didn’t hear back by the 15th to see what the hold up was. I guess it’s an automated system that uploads the decisions? Maybe we’ll still hear good tonight, but I doubt it.
I’m probably more optimistic than most people right now of a decision dropping tonight, because their phone lines will be utterly destroyed tomorrow if they don’t release anything
It seems like the only decisions they’ve released so far today are some for McCombs and they accepted the people with 4.0s for COLA
@newyorkgs Just letting you know, no Externals transfers heard back from McComb’s today. We had two fake accounts claim that they were accepted, but that’s it. A few internal transfers also commented on the thread.
I’m still holding onto hope for tonight. It could be misguided, but I really do think to avoid a panic tomorrow that they’ll work as hard as possible to get these out tonight
UTChemTransfer, could it be that CNS is going to release your decision with the internal transfers by Friday June 16, at 5 pm? https://cns.utexas.edu/students/future/internal-transfer
Honestly, we may not even hear tomorrow
Idk lol
@heliophobicdude I’m an external transfer but thanks anyway

Hey guys! I’ve been following this thread for a while but just now created an account. Does anyone have any statistics for the College of Education? I have yet to see one person lol so I was just a but confused. Btw my app is still under review also
@duddy113 thank you so much! I’m probably gonna make a meeting with an admissions counselor and talk through my options, you definitely helped a lot, thank you!
