Grew a Finance organization from 5 to 30 members as the President.
3 Very well written essays that were reviewed multiple times.
7 Letters of recommendation, two of which stated I was the best student they ever had at UT Tyler.
Extensive community service from my organization.
I didn’t apply anywhere else because I wasn’t aware Dual Credit would factor in.
I don’t really know what else to say.
Hey y’all, I just called admissions and they said what we already know, that they made that date before they knew the number of applicants and that there IS a delay. He asked for my UT EID and then said that I should hear either today or sometime this weekend but most likely no later. IF they are doing admission based on GPA, I have a 3.365 if that might help anybody get a better timeframe of their admission decision.
@bevo2017 4.00 in all indicator classes, including Calc 1 and 2 that I took in high school (not sure if that hurt me taking those college courses in HS). I had only 2 B’s, unfortunately one of those was a business class though.
Great numbers & that does not makes sense?? Not sure why they are rolling your Dual Credit GPA together. As a CAP student, I checked w/ admissions and they have my GPA listed without my Dual credit classes? Maybe in your instance, is that what they do for External/non-CAP students??
@bevo2017 Yeah, I talked to the head of Externals and she told me they would only look at my cumulative GPA. If that is the case for CAP students, that really sucks since I actually denied the CAP program…
@UTMccombs2017 SMU still has their transfer application open. I toured the Cox school of business and was very impressed, would of accepted my admission there if things didn’t work out with McCombs.
