For UC to UC transfers, the majority of classes should transfer over right? How did you guys plan for that? Just asking because I took quite a few upper division classes regarding my major at UCR and I’m unsure if it’ll transfer over smoothly if I have the opportunity and decide to transfer.
@RMiSLJ not every class transfers over, but you will receive unit credit for all the units you’ve taken at your UC. whether or not the upper division classes count towards your applied major at another UC is up to their discretion
Guys, I’m having a problem. I had to change one of my classes for spring and it’s not letting me edit the Transfer Academic Update. I could do it until yesterday but it’s not working today, someone please help!
@kfcinthebox hello, can I email? I have so manu questions on how to do a uc to uc transfer but I cant find any info on the web!
Do intercampus transfers get their decision last? So anxious @-)
@ohdeers Idk but only those who have gotten regents/honors have heard back except for UCSB, UCSC, and our own school UCR. We are likely to hear back with everyone else considering we don’t have 4.0s.
Current school: UCD

And falls on the higher end of average admitted for my major.

ECs/work: Did Summer school and the intercampus visitor program at UCLA and did one club while there, summer jobs, and not much more
I feel I’m gonna get rejected and it’s sucky because I worked hard to be admitted.
@g.green Why do you think that? I heard UCLA gives equal consideration to intercampus transfers and I have heard of people from my school UCR, getting in with a 3.4 gpa (Linguistics though).
@chs2014 well according to the University of California website on the “admissions by school source” link it is less likely that someone from UCD would get in, in comparison to UCSC or UCR at least for my ethnicity (since that’s how they break up the data)
@chs2014 also I’ve been reading past threads about how there are certain tricks to see if one is admitted on the MyUCLA student portal (I have access because summer school and Intercampus Visitor Program) and there are no updates that show they have received my FinAid or any other indication…but this is all speculation.
@g-green can you please link me to that? I’ve been trying to find that.
@chs2014 yeah of course http://universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/admissions-source-school just look at the top tabs to navigate
