Our experience (class of 2016) is that the income really hit us. My daughter advanced to states, but no further. She won several other scholarships where income was not a factor. She had extensive volunteer and a year of work experience. Just my two cents - if you have an above average income and no work experience, I wouldn’t expect to advance very far. It was a very thorough application, and completing it definitely did help my daughter get all her ducks in a row which was helpful for other scholarships. There is a judging rubic out there for this scholarship, but it sounds like you already found it

Hey! I just checked the isps website that host the application, and if you are moving on to the state level a new application should be on there for you. I haven’t gotten an email yet, but I got the application with a congratulations

No email yet, but I have the new application with the congratulatory note too! I’m a little hesitant, though, as it seems as though everyone (so far anyway) has the new application, so I’m trying not to get my hopes up in case it’s just the way the site works :-SS

Yep! The site where we submitted the application has a congratulations letter if you were selected to move on to States:)
yeah, i didn’t realize it at the time, but its starting to sound that way. do you think they would make the app open to everyone to submit though? you’ve got me all nervous now lol
