2019 November SSAT

@mona_lly I used varsitytutors.com for a while. The reading’s a little bit hard to read, you can’t skip questions, and I don’t know if the percentiles are accurate, but it’s definitely more difficult than the actual test (I think) so you could probably use that to prep. I’ve also heard that http://www.crackssat.com/ has good practice tests, but I personally haven’t used it, so I’m not certain if it’s good.

@hawaiisummers Wow, we had similar scores! That 99 percentile on the reading section’s really impressive though

Thank you so much
Really hoping to get a 2300
Will you be writing in December too

@hawaiisummers what were your scaled scores? Our reading scores are similar.

I thank you for your help but like I have already used crack SSAT and varsity tutors

Have you taken any practice tests? I took a practice test and got 2212 and with no studying I got 2352 on the real one.

Can I know where u got the practice tests from
Really want to make my family proud

Is there a problem with Varsity Tutors and Crack SSAT? I’m pretty sure those are the best free options online. My advice would be to just beat those websites to death until you’ve got everything down. Buying textbooks is always a good idea as well.

Not at all but like what I meant was since I have used them won’t I be used to it

And also can I get a very good websites for SSAT maths without paying

I did a quick Google search and found some more:

https://www.ssatprep.com/free-practice
https://www.test-guide.com/free-ssat-practice-tests.html
https://www.kaptest.com/ssat/free/ssat-practice

There are also a lot of things on YouTube from Mometrix for the SSAT (and literally every other standardized test).

How have you been scoring so far?

I got a 2100 on my October score but I want to push it to a 2300 or 2200 and above

Ah, okay. 2300 is a very ambitious goal, by the way. Good luck!!

Thank you so much for your help.I really appreciate everything

Well do you always take your tests online or it is sometimes printed
But I am applying for ninth grade

The official test is always on paper but prep online helps too. I’m applying for 9th grade too! Where are you applying?

Exeter,Choate,Milton,Groton,Deerfield,Kent and also Episcopal

@mona_lly My parents were not proud of my 99th percentile 2352 :disappointed:
I did the official practice from the ssat website.

??that is so surprising
Are you writing it again in December?

No, I am not. My parents just said that I could have done so much better because I did not study.

What was your percentile @mona_lly?
