When’s the last wave? Not many people
I believe it was released last Wednesday. The extent of it is ofc ambiguous as we have no data, though the Reddit/CC scene makes it seem like not that big of a wave. I guess we should cling to optimism regardless; we never know what might happen.
Who said some news this week on the phone?
By last wave, I meant the wave we last heard of. It was on Wednesday of last week, and it had a response deadline of one week. (i.e.) Students admitted last week were told that they have to either accept or decline their offers by today. This means that if there were admitted applicants who declined their acceptances, logically, their spots would be open for a new wave of admissions. Since the picture is now clear to the admissions office about how many spots will be there to fill (depending on last week’s admits response), I’m speculating that we might hear back very soon. There’s also the possibility that no one would decline their spots, but let’s hope not.
These are mere expectations; nothing stemming from a phone call.
Does anyone know if Columbia has a deadline for deferring enrollment for its admitted RD applicants? This info might also help us form an idea about the when of future wave(s).
I think it was May 15th…

1.) Between Columbia College and U Penn CAS, can anyone advise which is a better choice ? Which is more selective, etc ?
2.) Also, between Columbia and Brown ?
Thank you.

Penn might be better if you have been to that campus
Brown is very flexible for the students
These are very different schools. Think about the programs and which might better suit your interests. Columbia’s core is very structured while Penn has more flexibility. Brown is a totally open curriculum. Congrats - these are all amazing options!
Why is Penn better ? The campus is larger but it does not seem so beautiful as the Columbia campus,
These people should not keep three ivies undecided. No news for others!
Quiet week
My daughter just got off of Columbia Waitlist.
Congrats! Was it for CC or SEAS? If SEAS, which major?
Thank you! CC, Biology major Premed track.

Congratulations! What time did she get the email (if it was an email)?
